.....Well this is an exciting
prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm
alone now. (Read more about it at
"My Widow's Walk")

.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations.
....."Who is this wonderful helper?" you ask. [continued at right - "Wonderful Helper???"]

On and Off the Freeway

Today's travels started early, since I have "beauty" appointments on Friday morning out at the mall east of town. Nothing fancy on the way out. I just drove the route I always take along Southern.

But after those appointments, on the way home I planned to stop at Desert Breeze Glass.  I had found the company through one of the Internet directories and ordered a piece of glass to be cut and polished for the new table in the kitchen. It was ready for pick up.

But I didn't really know where the place was.  That's OK... Mr.G to the rescue. I gave him the address and he took me down the Superstition Freeway to Stapley, then directed me to Baseline and eventually... Desert Breeze Glass.

So I've done the freeway AGAIN!!! Only this time I tried out a different entrance and exit.
