.....Well this is an exciting prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm alone now. (Read more about it at "My Widow's Walk")

.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations.

Packing My Bags!


It's almost time for my little trip to the "Canyonlands".
I leave on Monday with seven others from FVT.


I'm looking forward to time away
in cooler temperatures and beautiful sites.
Even though it's a guided tour, and I'm not doing my own driving, I think I'll still take Mr. GEE... just to keep track of where I am.

I'll be back on next Friday... with some good photos...
so I'll tell you more about my travels then.
