Dear Mr. Gee...
Yes, I know it's been a long time since we've talked or traveled together. But I've been a very sick person! You see... this medicine the Doctor gave me to try was one terrible mistake, cuz I had a reaction to it that is still "on its way out" (if you understand my implication.) I've been laid up with side effects of the pills since I saw the new man, a neurologist who just happened to have sample meds for distribution, way back on August 17th. I will never look at sample meds the same way again.
I called him when I started to itch... he said "any rash?" No, I said, but it itches. "Is your nerve pain gone?" he asked. "Yes", was my answer. "Keep taking the medication..." Meanwhile, time marches on and so do the symptoms... itchy, sleepy, palpatations, nausea, dizziness, ringing in ears....
Come on Ellen! Long story shortened..... pleeeeeeze! Stopped pills August 26th, and now in recovery mode as we speak. The only great news is that I dropped some weight and the jeans fit better! Yeah!
Anyway, Mr. Gee, my thoughts again turn to you and travel, so I send you my apologies for the long delay in any action. I'll see you soon, I hope, perched upon my dashboard, giving me orders like you do so well.

sorry to hear you haven't been well! had thought maybe the heat was keeping you from your adventures. hope you're better and on the road again soon.
