.....Well this is an exciting prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm alone now. (Read more about it at "My Widow's Walk")
.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations. ....."Who is this wonderful helper?" you ask. [continued at right - "Wonderful Helper???"]

Groan!!!
I hurt my back a couple of days ago, so Mr. Gee and I are taking a little break... laying around a lot... moving slow. Well, we can be thinking about where the next destination might be, but we are definitely breaking no speed limits right now, or in the near future!

Hope you're feeling better soon, Ellen!
Too wierd . . . I fell in the backyard today (slipped on wet grass - oh wait, you don't have wet or grass . . . )hehe. And ankle bent in a way it wasn't meant too. Heard and felt a "pop" as I was landing. So I laid there glad no one saw me and then wondered how the heck I was going to get up if it was broken. I got up, could walk on it, and think it's just a humdinger of a sprain. It seems like at 62 5/6th's I should have broken something. Guess I've been drinking my milk.
