It's good to be home again. But I enjoyed the trip, and learned a lot. I even had to learn how to use a new gas pump when I filled up in Sedona. All in all, from staying in a motel, to negotiating roundabouts, and having to ask for help from a fellow traveler... this was a good experience. And I can smile and say.. "I did it!"
.....Well this is an exciting prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm alone now. (Read more about it at "My Widow's Walk")
.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations.
....."Who is this wonderful helper?" you ask. [continued at right - "Wonderful Helper???"]

Sounds like a really neat trip, and best of all sounds like you are enjoying yourself. As we branch out and extend the old wings, it's not so much that we DO things we've never done before, but rather that we have figured out HOW to do these things. Kewl . . .
