.....Well this is an exciting
prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm
alone now. (Read more about it at
"My Widow's Walk")

.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations.
....."Who is this wonderful helper?" you ask. [continued at right - "Wonderful Helper???"]

Gettin' Where I'm Goin'

Today, Mr. Gee and I explored the Tempe Marketplace. He insisted on a little freeway practice, and that was good, even though I ended up in the wrong lane once and missed my exit. Oh well... I'll get the hang of it, and I know Mr. Gee can always figure out another way to get me where I'm going! He's getting plenty of practice too... Rescue Practice!!

I looked around for a while and then spent about an hour at the Marketplace browsing in the Barnes & Noble bookstore... I love bookstores! PG spent a lot of time with books too, both in the stores and at home. Happily, all the books from his and CG's collections have a new home at FVT and beyond.
