.....Well this is an exciting
prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm
alone now. (Read more about it at
"My Widow's Walk")

.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations.
....."Who is this wonderful helper?" you ask. [continued at right - "Wonderful Helper???"]

New Location

I went to a movie this morning... in a place I had not really explored before. This was the AMC Mesa Grand 24. And traveling there meant I would be entering and exiting the freeway. That's what I need... plenty of on and off practice in various situations, at different times of day, etc. etc. So I let Mr. Gee lead the way and we did fine.

I saw the new Star Trek movie, full of beautiful music, explosive sound bites and surprising special effects. Its fast-paced story-line held my interest all the way through. But then, I am a SciFi devotee. Even the accompanying previews of coming attractions were really riveting!
