.....Well this is an exciting prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm alone now. (Read more about it at "My Widow's Walk")

.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations.

Brand New

It's a brand new day with a brand new Mr. Gee. That's right... he's been replaced again! Thank goodness I purchased that service agreement at Best Buy! When I took him in to Customer Service, complaining that he would no longer hold a charge, they were quick to take care of the problem with a replacement.



The only negative is that it takes so long to download the map set and register the device. My browser, Safari, gives me lots of trouble with this type of activity, and I do much better using FoxFire for Garmin.

Anyway, with new Mr. Gee on the dashboard, I'm ready to roll somewhere... haven't decided where yet.
