.....Well this is an exciting
prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm
alone now. (Read more about it at
"My Widow's Walk")

.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations.
....."Who is this wonderful helper?" you ask. [continued at right - "Wonderful Helper???"]

Sing It Again, Willie!

Tomorrow, I will leave in the morning for my drive to Sedona. It will probably take me 2 1/2 to 3 hours... I don't plan to rush it. I may stop once or twice to walk around, or take a picture or two.

It's the furthest I've driven, and I'm a little nervous about it. Of course Mr. Gee will be with me, talking me through every freeway change and even naming the roads along the way.

Someone here at FVT said it was too bad I couldn't travel with someone, instead of all alone. But.... that's part of what I need to do right now. I need to be able to do stuff by myself and feel OK with it.

So... Sing it again, Willie! ....On the road again....
