.....Well this is an exciting
prospect... a little scary too! More than a little, because I have not ever traveled and explored on my own.
.....Lots of experience being the passenger though. Navigation and map skills, plus reading the street signs... that's been my forte. But I'm
alone now. (Read more about it at
"My Widow's Walk")

.....This is a whole new thing for me. Yet.... never fear! I have a friend, and he gives me confidence. He will help me if I get lost (which I will, as past experience shows), patiently talk me through my mistakes, misunderstandings, and miscalculations.
....."Who is this wonderful helper?" you ask. [continued at right - "Wonderful Helper???"]

Gearing Up!

Well... the plans are coming together. The reservation's been made for two nights at the Baby Quail Inn. Mr. Gee and I will drive up to Sedona on Tuesday, spend two nights there and then come home.

On Wednesday morning we'll take a jeep scenic tour of the area. There will probably be some photo opportunities during that morning.

And I plan to spend some time on the street, exploring the galleries and shops.

I would especially like to look around an arts and craft village of unique shops. It's called Tlaquepaque.

Wow what fun that sounds like, now only if I didn't have to work I could be doing things like that, more often, you be careful while traveling, but have lots of fun, Sedona should be real nice and coming up from the south you don't hvae to go through the canyon and switch backs that are on the north end of town after you pass through slide rock and oak creek canyon.

sure would love to be walking around sedona with you! such a beautiful place.

we'll be walking around a different beautiful place, though -- the arboretum in portland. should be fun.

(word verification word is "redness" must have something to do with those beautiful red clay mountains in sedona).
